Scott Trucking Inc. based in Sterling, IL. was founded in 1981. Steve Scott took his trucking business full time serving the Agricultural customers of Northern Illinois.  Steve began running the business as an owner-operator team with his father. For five years, Scott Trucking ran routes with their single truck, primarily to farms in the Sauk Valley area.

After a few years and a few kids, Scott refocused the business, taking on a more local role contracting with larger based ag and commercial businesses hauling supplies and equipment across northern Iowa, Illinois, southern Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.
